Founded in 1992 by Rev. Bienvenido Abante Sr., then Senior Pastor of the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, its first thrust is to reach out to the community through affordable yet quality education with emphasis on teaching biblical values.
The Great Lighthouse Academy Scholarship Support (GLASS)
A scholarship program for Lighthouse Academy students
Lighthouse Initiatives for Values Education (LIVE)
Classroom-based values education program for public and private schools utilizing original curriculums designed by Lighthouse BBC Education professionals. These include:
- Reinforced Values Instructions Via Advanced Life Lessons (REVIVALL) – production of values education curriculum for public high schools
- Paglayo at Iwas sa Ipinagbabawal na Droga (PAGLIPAD) – a classroom-based awareness and Biblical values program against substance abuse which currently reaches out to thousands of students per week
- Lighthouse Program Against Dependency (LIPAD) –a community-based Biblical values formation program for individuals identified as users of illegal drugs in communities
Lighthouse Educational Assistance Program (LEAP)
A study now, pay later program for deserving but financially challenged young people
Lighthouse Outreach for Community Kids (LOCK)
A values-based sports and activities for community youth
