The Great Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization which began as a school in 1992. Its founder, Bienvenido “Tatay” Abante Sr., was adamant about using the Grace of God in Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church to serve the youth of its immediate community, Barangay Tatalon in Quezon City. The initial goal of TGLFI was to usher the youth of Tatalon to become better and more productive members of society through a God-centered and Bible-led educational curriculum.

In 1992, Reuben Abante, son of Tatay Abante, has since taken over as chairman of TGFLI and has has taken this humble goal much further. TGLFI now delves into various community outreach activities which can be classified into the following service arms: Health, Livelihood and Professional Expertise, Education and Values, and Relief Assistance. 

TGLFI has gone beyond the borders of Barangay Tatalon and has broadened its vision from a values-based education to the overall holistic development, betterment, and enrichment of different communities and its people, both in the urban and rural areas of the Philippines.
