Serving the Community Once Again

A total of 2,117 services were rendered last March 12, 2016 through the “Handog Kalusugan” – a biannual medical and dental mission being conducted by the Great Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. in partnership with a number of NGOs and medical companies.

Once again, the Lighthouse Bible Baptist sanctuary opened its doors to address the medical and spiritual needs of the residents of five urban poor barangays within the immediate vicinity: Barangays Tatalon, Doña Imelda, and Manresa. More than 400 volunteers from the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, and various organizations, joyfully shared their time and willingly contributed their services, resulting to the following:

Best of all, the event yielded more than 500 professions of faith, with 92 individuals receiving assurance of their salvation in Christ. This regular Medical-Dental Mission is being done along with the following partners who faithfully commit their resources and time for this God-glorifying humanitarian activity — Rotary Club of Midtown Diliman, Scientific Biotech Specialties, Inc., UNILAB, AFP, PCMC, Philippine Dermatological Society, among others.
